    This diabetes book sounds like it’s full of good information. I’m curious to get my hands on it, not because I have diabetes, but just to see the recipes inside. Especially the drink they mention.

    My husband was just diagnosed with pre-diabetes, so I’ve put him on a strict healthy eating regime these last few weeks. They were supposed to test his blood again in 6 months, but his doctor had ordered him a retake in a week. So, he was diagnosed about a month ago, I put him on a super healthy regime, and then he went back in. They said that his blood results were worse, but they’re not releasing the blood work to him. I asked him to get it so I can compare it to the first.

    I have a BA in Nutrition, and I studied food, especially for disabilities, and I know blood. We went through a year and a half on blood work. I told him that I’m doubting his doctor, only because they’re not releasing the blood work to him. Plus, he’s lost about 25 pounds in just a month, so I’m pretty sure his blood would have gotten better. Especially since he’s on a no-sugar regime right now.     Since this program puts such a heavy emphasis on teaching people how to eat properly I believe it could actually work to help reverse type 2 diabetes.

    A healthy, well-balanced meal plan is a significant part of any diabetes management plan.
