But, unfortunately, in some cases, this is just not enough. There are also some other factors that affect the fat burning process. For example, sleep. Studies have shown that sleep is able to determine what your body will do: melt fat or accumulate it.

Resurge Deep Sleep Formula is a dietary supplement that is claimed to helping your body to have better sleep. When you are sleeping better, your metabolism rates increases and your body is able to burn more fat.

The good news is that Resurge is 100% natural. Like with other all-natural dietary supplements, you aren’t going to experience side effects, if you’ll take it correctly.

What’s Inside Resurge? – Resurge Ingredients

Resurge is a product that is designed for internal use, so it’s extremely important to see what is the content of this dietary supplement. A lot of the weight loss pills contain harmful substances and while these might help you lose weight and burn fat, on another side, they can negatively affect other systems of your body.

The good news is that Resurge is an all-natural dietary supplement. It means that all of its ingredients are 100% natural and therefore, safe to use. Resurge Deep Sleep Formula contains herbal extracts, amino acids, and minerals.

Let’s quickly go over all of them one by one to see what these exactly are.

50mg of Magnesium (12.5% of your Daily Value)
15mg of Zinc (100% of your Daily Value)
1,200mg of L-arginine
1,2000mg of L-lysine
200mg of L-theanine
150mg of Ashwagandha root extract
100mg of Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract
10mg of Melatonin

What’s intresting is that Resurge combines ingredients that help you fall asleep faster at night, as well as some of the amino acids that contribute to building proteins while you are sleeping.

Is Resurge a Scam? - Resurge Pinterest Pin

Most of sleep aid supplements contain between 1 and 5 g of Melatonin but here you get 10 g of this substance in every pill you take. I believe this is a fair amount that will make you sleep better and deeper while the amino acids L-arginine and L-Theanine help repair your body overnight.

The two herbal plants in this supplement are Ashwagandha and Griffonia simplicifolia. Ashwagandha is known to be beneficial for boosting immunity, being full of antioxidants, it helps to manage stress, increase energy levels, and building muscle mass.

Griffonia simplicifolia is a plant known to be one of the best natural sources of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP).

5-HTP is a compound that is converted to serotonin in the brain. Increasing serotonin levels have been shown to affect the brain by suppressing appetite.

What Does Science Say About Resurge Ingredients?

Now, there might be a lot of good things written on the label but in order to understand if Resurge really contributes to weight loss through improved sleep, it helps to have a look at what the scientific research has found about Resurge ingredients.

One of Resurges’ most noticeable ingredient is Melatonin. After reviewing dozens of studies on melatonin, researches found that it could help people restore circadian rhythm after jet lag, shift work, and other things that disrupt your body’s sleep/wake cycle. Resurge contains 10 mg of Melatonin which is higher than many other melatonin supplements. This makes Resurge an excellent speep aid supplement.

Next, Resurge contains L-arginine and L-lysine. Most people use amino acid supplements to build muscle or aid recovery after a workout, and not specifically to lose weight. But at the same time, there’s some evidence that amino acids are linked with weight loss. A study conducted in 2017 showed that weight loss can lead to significant changes in amino acid levels. However, it’s unclear if L-arginine and L-lysine are directly linked with weight loss.

Is Resurge a Scam? - Resurge Ingredients

Ashwagandha herbal plant was used for centuries in traditional medicine for overall health and wellness. There were multiple studies conducted on Ashwagandha and researchers have come to the conclusion that it was an “anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic agent” linked to anxiolytic [anti-anxiety] effects, improved energy levels, and other benefits. However, it’s important to note here that most studies on Ashwagandha use a dose between 400 and 600mg, and this is the dose used in most other Ashwagandha supplements. While Resurge contains just 150mg of Ashwagandha.

L-theanine is another Resurge ingredient that is a compound found in certain teas. It’s known to have anti-anxiety effects and due to this many people take L-theanine to manage daily stress. This 2019 study showed that L-theanine could have a positive impact on stress-related symptoms and cognitive functions in healthy adults.

Concerning Griffonia simplicifolia, it has not been studied as much as Ashwagandha. However, research suggests that Griffonia simplicifolia seeds can impact 5-HTP, which is a crucial chemical for weight loss. Griffonia simplicifolia contains 5-HTP, which is a precursor to serotonin. Some studies suggest Griffonia simplicifolia can indirectly impact depression, anxiety, appetite, sleep, and motion sickness, among other benefits, by impacting serotonin.

Last but not least, Resurge contains Zinc and Magnesium which are known to be important elements for sleep and other functions in our body.

How to Take Resurge?

Taking this dietary supplement is pretty easy. According to Resurge’s official website, the directions of use are as follows: take it with a glass of water one hour before bed.

It’s recommended to take four capsules of Resurge per day.

How Much Does Resurge Cost? – Resurge Pricing

You might be thinking that because Resurge is an all-natural supplement, it may break your bank but this is not actually the case. The pricing for Resurge is between $34 and $49 depending on how many bottles you order once at a time. As with any product bundles, you get a better price when you order more bottles at once.

Is Resurge a Scam? - Pricing

Every single bottle of Resurge contains 120 capsules which is one-month supply.

On Resurge’s official website, they state that these prices are available within a “special” offer and that there’s no guarantee that you’ll get the same price if you order other than today. However, I have noticed that the price remains the same over time so I believe this is just a marketing trick used to boost sales.

How Many Resurge Bottles Should Your Order for Optimal results?

Taking into condideration that Resurge is an all-natural supplement, you shouldn’t expect immediate results with it. Creators of this product suggest that based on their research, it’s best to take Resurge consistently for at least 90 – 180 days to experience optimal results and to ensure you reach your desired weight and keep it there. This means that the most cost-effective solution is to order their 3 or 6 bottles packages.

Resurge Testimonials and Customer Reviews

I bet you wonder what other people are saying about Resurge, right? Well, to this date, there are 10 complaints filed by customers on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website. These complaints are generally dealing with product returns and refunds.

PROs & CONs

Things I Like About Resurge

Money-back Guarantee

It’s always a great addition to the product when it comes with a money-back guarantee. This way, you can assume that this is a risk-free bargain for you. With Resurge, you have 60 days to claim your money back if you find yourself unsatisfied with the product. This is enough time to see if it works for you, and if not, you are free to return it for a full refund (even empty bottles), no questions asked.

All-natural Product

Resurge is made of 100% natural ingredients which makes it a safe alternative to other weight loss chemical drugs.

Made By Real Person

There are a lot of products online, especially in the weight loss industry that doesn’t clearly state who have manufactured this product, or the person who formulated it. Luckily, this is not the case of Resurge since we know that is has been firmulated by John Barban – a well-known person in the dietary supplement and fitness indystry.

Things I Dislike About Resurge

Not Approved by FDA

It’s commonly known that the FDA doesn’t approve dietary supplements. Although Resurge is manufactured in the USA, in the state-of-the-art FDA-approved facility, and in accordance with GMP practices, this doesn’t mean that the product itself is approved by the FDA.

You’ll Have to Pay for Shipping

For example, if you order one bottle of Resurge, or 3 or 6 product bundles, you’ll pay a $9.95 shipping fee. If you’re looking for a weight loss solution that comes with free international shipping, you may wish to check out Zotrim, TrimTone, Meticore, Phen24, or PhenQ.

Not Suitable for Everyone

Even though Resurge is an all-natural formula, still there are some categories of people who have to be careful using this product. These are:

  • Pregnant and Nursing Mothers
  • People who have special health condition should consult with doctors before deciding to take or not Resurge supplement
  • Young people below the age of 18

My Final Verdict About the Use of Resurge Deep Sleep Formula

In their presentational video, they claim that Resurge addresses the root cause of weight gain without the help of adjusting your diet and exercise routine.

If you know me, I always stress to your attention that there is literally no magic pill in this world that can help you lose weight overnight without eating properly and exercising correspondingly. If Resurge can help you then it should come as an addition to your other efforts to lose weight.

Yes, it does contains ingredients that help you sleep better, and reduce stress and anxiety. When these things are in proper order in your life, it will help you boost your metabolism and reduce weight at a faster rate.

All in all, Resurge doesn’t produce side effects when taken correctly and if you purchase Resurge from the official website, you keep yourself out of troubles with scammers and this is also a risk-free bargain.

As always, decision is yours.

There you have it, my dear reader! I hope this information was useful for you.

  1. Hey,

This is a really informative and insightful review of Resurge.

I have tried these kinds of products before when I was trying to lose weight. The product I used, in the beginning, was called stackers, and they didn’t work one bit.

I was doing Thai boxing at the time, and stackers were recommended by my instructor. He said they worked really well for him in revealing his six-pack.

So I did the same but they didn’t work at all for me.

In my opinion, we shouldn’t use these kinds of products to lose weight with all the side effects, etc. But, don’t take my word for it, try them out for yourself first.

Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work on your reviews.

    All the best,

    Tom

    • Hi, Tom,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Unfortunately, dietary supplements don’t produce the same results for every one of us simply because these work differently depending on your body type, your lifestyle, age, level of activity, diet, metabolic rate, etc.

That’s why we never know if a product will work for us or no until we try it out.

Thank you for reading today 🙂

  2. This is a really informative review of Resurge. Just like you, I like the idea that is made of 100% natural ingredients, I always trust products like this more than products with chemical drugs.
But at this moment I’m still breastfeeding, so I’m not thinking about buying this product.
I do believe in a healthy diet and exercise, but healthy deep sleep is not yet possible due to the child.
Thanks for your comprehensive review, it was interesting to read this information and your opinion on the pros and cons.

    • Hi, Nina,

Thank you for your comment, and congratulations on your baby. I know what you’re saying because we’ve already been through this with my wife when our daughter was born.

These aren’t the easiest times but still, they are so beautiful and unrepeatable.

      Warm greetings to you,

  3. Hi Ionut,

This is certainly a subject I know very well due to a history of insomnia.

Luckily, I’m not someone who generally worries about my weight (sorry, to other readers), but having studied the subject of sleep and sleep deprivation, I know that what you’ve written here is indeed true.

In fact, certain stages of deep sleep is when the human growth hormone is released, which is essential for pretty much anything body-related, e.g. building muscle, burning fat, and of course losing weight.

I’m typically not a fan of supplements, but going through the list of ingredients of Resurge they seem absolutely fine.

Melatonin is of course naturally produced by the body, and people often take melatonin supplements as a more natural alternative to sleeping pills.

The various other ingredients are the many building blocks we need to stay in great shape, and of course to keep the fat off.

So, I’m actually quite impressed by what Resurge has to offer.

Finally, I must add I always appreciate your reviews Ionut. I find you to be honest and sincere, and it’s great that you leave the final decision up to your readers, but still provide an informative and comprehensive review.

    Great job.

  4. Hi Voicu,

It’s good to know that Resurge’s founder has degrees in health and nutrition, which makes it more convincing to me, and the ingredients are 100% natural(a big plus!)

But, just like what you mentioned in conclusion, I am not a big fan of magic pill that could help people lose weight overnight, so it’s most likely that people need to combine Resurge pills, exercise, and training regularly to get the most advantages, right?

    Thanks,
    Matt

    • Hi, Matt,

Thank you for coming by. It’s nice to see you here again 🙂

I personally don’t believe that you can lose weight and burn fat just with the help of a pill. Even if you will, you’ll get a not really good looking body after some fat goes away.

So yes, even if you want to include diet pills in your weight loss arsenal, it’s best to combine it with proper diet and exercise to achieve the best results ever.

      I hope this helps!

  5. Glad I stumbled on this review.

Sleep has always been an issue for me. I like how Resurge includes melatonin, which I believe is naturally produced by the human body.

It seems that Resurge is more than a sleep-aid. I’ve been looking around for good Ashwagandha brands too and I like how it’s included in Resurge.

Just wondering if existing customers reported immediate improvement after taking it?

    • Hi, Kenny,

      Thank you for dropping by.

Resurge is a dietary supplement that doesn’t produce immediate effects. There’s a timeframe of between 90 and 180 days when you can notice results with using this supplement.

      I hope this helps!

  6. Really glad to stumble across this review Ionut.

One of their YouTube adverts caught my eye so I was keen to try it out. It was the longest most painful sales pitch I’ve seen on YouTube but I still bought the product – went for the 6 bottle pack.

Both my wife and I have been using it for the past 6 weeks. My wife seems to think the tablets assist with her sleep but I’m not seeing any benefits at all. Neither of us have seem any weight loss either so again no real joy there.

In terms of the ingredients and the principle, I get it but in terms of the product itself, not something that I will be reordering.
